In the ConnectPro console, in Settings tab, we can configure consents and notifications related to remote access. All available options are listed in Remote Access section, which is the default view for settings tab.
Screen covering
While accessing remotly a device with ConnectPro agent installed on, the administrator can hide their actions behind the special screen displayed to the device user. By default this screen looks like that:
ConnectPro allows to customize this screen. All you need to do is to click on the message edit button - that opens page editor where we can paste HTML code prepared earlier.
In this tab we only define how does the covering screen look like, while the actual decision about this screen being or not being displayed to the user we make each time we remotely connect with a device.
Notifications and consents
Show notification
Depending on the selected option, user will or will not be informed about the administrator remotly accessing their device.
Ask for user consent
- Do not ask - the administrator accesses the user device automatically, no consent needed;
- Ask - for the administrator to access the device, its user needs to give their consent within preset time; if we select this option, further choice becomes possible, i.e. we can set Allow if user does not respond to one of two values possible:
Allow - if the user does not respond within the given time, the administrator is allowed to connect,
Do not allow - if the user does not respond within the given time,connection will not be established.
