Configure SNMP monitoring on the selected device in nVision.

If you do not see the selected branch in the SNMP browser in nVision, it will be necessary to compile the MIB file downloaded from the manufacturer’s website.

Fortigate

To add interface traffic monitoring:

  1. Go to the General tab and click the link Configure network interface traffic monitoring:

  2. In the new window, select the interfaces for which traffic should be monitored. Confirm by clicking Create counters.

  3. Verify the visibility of the added counters in the Performance \ Counters tab.
