Remote Access in ConnectPro enables fast and convenient support for users. You can use it when text chat support proves insufficient.
To connect remotely with a device, you need:
- make sure that ConnectPro server is running on a static IP address,
- install ConnectPro Agent on that device.
User logged in on the device to which the administrator connected will be notified about the remote access.
We can access the device remotely in three ways:
- by clicking the remote access icon in a specific row of the table with the list of reported issues in the Oerview tab (it opens the session on the device of the user reporting given problem);
- by clicking the remote access icon in a specific row of the table with the list of devices in the Devices tab (it opens the session on the chosen device);
by clicking the Remote Access button in the details view of the device selected from the table with the list of devices in the Devices tab;
and then, choosing the session we want to join (we have access to sessions all users logged into the given device) and clicking Connect button:
Multiple administrators can be connected to the same device simultaneously.
Remote Access View

Modes of Remote Access:
- Simultaneous Access is a default mode in which both the user and the remote administrator can interact with the device at the same time.
- View Only is the user screen preview mode, in which the remotely connected administrator cancannot perform any actions on the device.
- Block user input - in this mode, the remotely connected administrator can perform actions on the deivce, unlike the user who loses the ability to interact with the device.
- Cover user screens and block user input - that is the mode allowing the administrator to hide their remote actions from the user, at the same time depriving the user of the ability of interaction with the device. The default covering screen can be customized in Settings >> Remote access tab
