Quick Help allows you to connect to the user's device without having to install additional software on it. Quick Help Agent does not need administrators privileges to function properly. The user we remotely connect to does not needConnectPro account.
Quick Help Agent can only be run on devices where the standard ConnectPro Agent is not installed.
To connect remotely to the user using Quick Help, the administrator should:
- make sure that the TCP prost is free and that the edge roouter of the enterprise network redirects this port to ConnectPro server;
in QuickHelp section of ConnectPro console click on the Download Quick Help Agent link, configurethe server IP address, and then copy the generated file;
send the generated file to the user they want to connect with and get the four-digit session ID from the user (it will be displayed once the user runs the agent);
click on the Connect button;
- enter the four-digit ID collected earlier;
