ConnectPro instalation and activation

Installation

  1. Download the appropriate installation file.
  2. Run the installer.
  3. Choose the installation type - if your organization does not yet have a ConnectPro server installed, choose Axence ConnectPro server with the Management Console, otherwise Axence ConnectPro Management Console only.

Remember: For the program to work correctly, the ConnectPro server must be installed. The console is used only for management. After installing the ConnectPro server, you can install just the management console on other devices and connect them to the ConnectPro server.

Important! Make sure to add exclusions in your antivirus software for the folders where the ConnectPro Server and Console are installed.

Activation and First Launch

After installation, you can launch ConnectPro. 

No the only thing left to begin using the program, is one-time activation.

  • Click the "Go to Axence Account" button. You will be redirected to registration and login window

  •  Either register your Axence account, or log in to one, if you already have one. Registration means full access to the free license for one year. You can learn more about the offer by clicking the link in the bottom of the page. Do not forget about accepting terms and conditions and license agreement!

  • Select the license you want to use to activate ConnectPro (the list of the licenses assigned to your account you can check at www.account.axence.net).

    If your license is connected to another device, now you have the opportunity to change it.

  • ConnectPro is now activated.

After the activation, the ConnectPro console gets activated. When you log into it for the first time, you will be logged in as the Main Administrator.

If you want to log into the ConnectPro console from other devices than the one with the server installed, remember to set the password for the Main Administrator (preferably from the Users tab).

If you encounter any problems during ConnectPro activation—for example, if after logging into Axence Account you do not see any ConnectPro license options—please contact Axence Support.
