Reports in this group include parameters that define the data scope:
map (single selection),
device type (multiple selection),
device (multiple selection).
They usually also include a time range for the events covered in the report.
There are five reports related to device monitoring:
Agent and Inventory Data Information
The report generates a list of devices showing the installed agent version, the date of the last status update (i.e., connection with the agent), and the dates of software and hardware data updates.
Note: The selection list includes both devices with an installed agent and those without one. For devices without an agent, the corresponding rows in the report will be empty.
Device State Change
This report shows the exact time a device’s state changed, the new state, and how long that state lasted.
Device Uptime/Downtime
This report shows the total duration of device states within the selected time range. It is divided into sections, each dedicated to a single device. Each section includes:
device name,
all devices states occurring within the specified range,
total duration of each state,
percentage duration of each state.
For best results, use criteria that significantly narrow the scope (both time and devices). Low precision in parameters may lead to long data processing and report generation times.
Network Device Monitoring Summary
The report is divided into sections for individual devices. In addition to the device name and type, each section includes details such as SNMP system and location, the number of open alerts, the date of the last alert, as well as IP addresses, DNS names, and MAC addresses monitored by the network device.
Port Mapping
This report includes only Layer 2 switches with active SNMP that allow end-device connections. Each network device is presented in a separate section, with individual rows corresponding to connected clients.
Each row provides details on:
the port used to connect the client to the network device (number, name, status),
connection speed and transfer rates,
client information (MAC and IP addresses, device name, and DNS).
| Report | Description | Parameters |
|---|---|---|
Agent information and inventory data | list of agents on the devices with information about the inventories carried out |
|
Changes in device status | changes in the status of devices over time |
|
Device operating/non-operating time | percentage of operating and non-operating time of the device | |
Port mapping | ports for layer two network devices with information about connected devices |
|
Summary of network device monitoring | summary of network device monitoring and its basic information |
