The Event Log is a registry of all actions performed by users within the Reports module.
It provides a complete audit trail that helps track changes, user activity, and key operations executed on reports and folders.
Types of Logged Events
The following actions are recorded in the event log:
creating, generating, exporting, and deleting a report,
modifying a report’s description, name, layout, or folder,
restoring a built‑in report,
creating a folder, changing its name, space, or parent folder,
creating and deleting a space,
changing a space’s name and visibility,
modifying user groups in space visibility settings.
Information Recorded for Each Event
Each log entry contains the following details:
User – the account that performed the action
Event description – a detailed explanation of what happened
Date – the exact timestamp of the action
Object type – report or folder
Object name – the name of the affected item
Filtering Log Entries
The event log supports filtering based on the following criteria:
User
Date
Object name
Filters may be applied individually or combined.
When multiple filters are used, an event must meet all selected conditions to appear in the results.
Additional Event Details
In some entries, an eye icon may appear next to the event.
This icon provides access to extended information related to specific actions.
Extended details include:
Report generation
Query identifier
Values of the parameters used to generate the report
Report export
Output file type
Restoring a built‑in report
Information related to reverting the report to its original version
