Access to other users activity in SmartTime can be provided using one of the scenarios below:
- Supervisor - accesses their subordinates activity
and/or - Group manager - accesses the activity of the group they manage
The article below presents the configuration for the following objects
- [manager] - user account that is granted access
- [subordinate] - user account that has its activity accessed
- [management] - security group that contains the employee accounts

- Access the [manager] account properties window, navigate to Permissions > SmartTime, and modify the following:
- User role > User
- Access to activity of other users > YES
- To grant the Supervisor access to their subordinates activity:
- Access the properties of the [subordinate] user account, and assign the Supervisor:
- If user accounts in nVision are synchronized from ActiveDirectory, the information will have to be updated in the domain first (and then resynced to nVision):
- The user [manager] may choose which subordinates activity they want to access:
- To grant the group manager access to the activity of group members:
- Access the properties of the [management] group and modify:
- Manager - [manager]
- Access to activity > YES
- Users in the group - [subordinate]
- If user accounts in nVision are synchronized from ActiveDirectory, then the group details have to be updated (and later resynced):
- The [manager] user account, besides accessing group members activity, can verify the combined statistics of the whole group:
